Mgr. Art. Diana Elischerová (1994, Handlová)

Diana is a contemporary Slovak artist, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where she studied free textile art under doc. Blanka Cepková and painting in the studio of prof. Ivan Csudai.

In her work she brings together elements of painting, object and textile. She works with intense colour, sensuality and gestural expression. Motifs such as fruit or still lifes she transforms into visually strong symbols with a touch of camp aesthetics.
